Welcome

The Burrito Riders

Building relationships, one burrito at a time…

Micah 6:8, the verse that inspired us in the beginning.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

At this time, we have no central Organizer in the Louisville area and are unable to collect and distribute burritos for the time being.

In Huntington, the ReBicycle Shop is currently not open due to COVID-19 precautionary measures.

The Burrito Riders provide a novel approach to serving in your own community. Operating in Huntington, WV & Louisville, KY, our riders meet the second and fourth Saturday of each month to deliver hot breakfast burritos to the homeless and the hungry.

In Huntington, we also operate the donation-based ReBicycle Shop.

ReBicycle is always accepting donations of adult bicycles, in serviceable condition.

How do I volunteer? I love biking, serving others, AND burritos!

    • Give us a shout at Tim@burritoriders.org and we’ll get you connected! 🙂

    • Tami, Sorry for my delay in responding. I almost never get legit comments here, it’s typically a spam landslide so I don’t check it often enough. I’m excited to see that you are interested in learning more about our thing here. We’re ALWAYS glad to welcome new volunteers and donors. Please email me at tim@burritoriders.org and let me know if you are in the Louisville or Huntington areas. If Louisville, I’ll put you in contact with local Louisville coordinators. The “home office” is located in West Virginia though, and I would be your contact. Hope to hear from you!
      Tim.

My family would like to participate in burrito riders. How do we start? Tina Jostsons and family

I heard about this through a co worker who rides. Pretty awesome! She said there may be an opportunity to make burritos if I’m not able to ride and pass them out? We love in the Louisville area.
